To be quite honest, 'London's Transport' is not just the culmination of several years of researching and photographing this amazing network, it is the achievement of a life-long ambition. That is, to write a book about the transport system that has never ceased to fascinate me since I first travelled on it as a child.
While a book of this size can only convey a brief overview of a system so comprehensive that several volumes could, and have been written about it, it is my hope that you the reader, will experience from this book some of the fascination that I have with what has to be one of the world's finest transport networks.
